Dallas is located in the Central Time Zone of North Central Texas, 35 miles east of Fort Worth, 245 miles north, northwest of Houston and 300 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.

Dallas has great accessibility. DFW International Airport, one of the world's busiest, provides travel to any North American city in four hours or less. It is the world's third busiest airport, serving 59 million passengers each year. Offering nearly 1,900 flights daily, it provides non-stop service to 131 domestic and 36 international destinations worldwide. Dallas Love Field Airport, in the heart of the city, provides regional air service. Dallas, also, boasts one of the fastest-growing light rail systems in the nation, including the Trinity Rail Express that commutes between Dallas and Fort Worth.
